Imagine waking to a bright morning sky, birds singing, sun shining, flowers blooming, and you're again taken with nature's beauty and the richness that is your life.
You're thrilled because life on earth is so refreshing, especially after the dark years of the early millennium. It seems a distant nightmare - War in Iraq , Hurricane Katrina, Lebanon, Palistine, Africa, hunger and squalor all other the world and a deepening ecological crisis. Global warming, Frankenfoods, terrorism, and inequality for nearly all - a very tough time indeed. And yet it was less than a decade ago.

Thank God (whoever that may mean) enough of us "got it" to effect a massive transformation. To finally kill off the dinosaurs of corporate greed and political lust, to finally end secret meetings and ill-conceived legislation. To finally take steps to "get ourselves back to the Garden" (thanks Joni).
Since the uprisings that transitioned our culture from an econo-centric model to an ecologic-centric model, the world has learned to breathe again. Our priorities are in order, our commitments are honorable and our communities are again the backbone of our lives.
In a World 5 culture, integrity and transparency are rules of the day. Old efforts by special interests to distort and misguide have been abandoned. All transactions, agreements and legislations must hold up under the scrutiny of a conscious public. All business decisions must be considered in light of the persons, communities and ecologies that would be impacted. And individual decision-making has taken a new turn - getting ahead has been usurped by the notion of getting along.
