World5.org is designed as a portal to the World5 cutural operating system. A new operating system is required to push back against the rampant corporatism that controls our world today, ruining lives, communities and ecologies in the process. We can only do that by restoring government, currently a lapdog to corporate interests, and that requires not only  a new o/s, but a movement. The movement for World 5.0 is the Occupy Movement.

This website features several ways to enjoy and interact. The best way to quickly get a sense of what World 5.0 is to click on the "Evolution" link, where a number of over-arching ideas are presented. You can also check out the blog, the RSS Feeds from a few  progressive sites, or you can buy the book.

The book provides an in-depth look at how we got here, where we are, and what we need to do to heal ourselves and transform our Earth. It is a powerful indictment of the broken Industrial Age system we've lived under our whole lives. It is an even more powerful light on how we can create an operating system based on principles and ethics instead of the power of money.

At the hands-on level, World 5.0 is for access to forward thinking and for user participation. Users can add and comment on links, colmment on articles, submit material and rate various articles and links. The word cloud offers another method finding content through keywords. Generating comments is of great value in growing our fledgling movement. The google loves new content.

We will soon be adding a new content area based on the ideas of 'cores,' creating a new method for finding content.
